Aim and Scope:

General Surgical Diseases

Abdominal & Thoracic: Original research on novel surgical techniques for gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, lung, and esophageal diseases, including advancements in laparoscopic and robotic procedures. Reviews on multidisciplinary management. Case studies of rare and complex cases. Technical reports on new devices and methods.

Orthopedic Surgery

Joint & Spine: Studies on hip/knee arthroplasty, shoulder/elbow surgery, and spinal procedures for degenerative diseases, trauma, and tumors. Research on biomechanics, comparative outcomes of different surgical approaches, and evaluation of new fixation devices. Case reports on complex orthopedic cases.

Neurosurgery

Brain & Nerve: Original articles on brain tumor resection utilizing intraoperative imaging, and surgery for spinal cord/nerve compression, tumors, and injuries. Technical reports on novel surgical tools and navigation systems.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Craniofacial & Reconstructive: Research on the management of craniofacial trauma, orthognathic surgery for dentofacial deformities, and surgical treatment of head and neck pathologies (including benign and malignant tumors). Studies on dental implantology, bone grafting techniques, and reconstructive surgery using microvascular free flaps. Case reports on complex congenital defects (e.g., cleft lip/palate) and surgical outcomes.

Cardiothoracic Surgery

Open Access: This journal operates under a "gold" Open Access model, providing free access to all readers.  The Article Processing Charges (APC) for all article types (research, review, case reports) is $50, and the content will be published under a CC BY 4.0 license.
